Today, we come together as a community—to raise awareness, to listen, and to speak openly about suicide.
We are so lucky to have a connected community, and I have enjoyed meeting and learning about the amazing community groups that bring so many of us together.
Connecting with others, talking about mental health and breaking the barriers to support is crucial.
Suicide remains the leading cause of death for people under 35 and for men under 50. Behind each number is a person, a family member, a friend, a loved one.
Check in with your friends and family, and if you’re struggling, please talk to someone.
Please familiarise yourself with the support available: Mental Health : NHS Gloucestershire ICB
Let’s keep talking, support is out there.
