Gloucestershire will receive up to £11.1 million over five years to provide tailored employment support for disabled people.
Part of the Government’s Get Britain Working strategy, the locally led Connect to Work programme will support people with complex barriers to employment, helping them into meaningful, long-term work.
This investment marks an important step in reforming the way employment, health, and skills services work together to reduce economic inactivity and empower more people to enter—and stay in—the workforce.
Supporting disabled people, those with health conditions, and others facing significant challenges is essential to building a fairer and more inclusive labour market.
If you or someone you know could benefit from this support, please do get in touch.
