Welcoming Jenny Riddell-Carpenter MP, Under-Secretary of State for the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs

It was great to welcome Jenny Riddell-Carpenter MP, Under-Secretary of State for the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs, to the Forest of Dean last week.

We had the opportunity to speak with residents in Berry Hill, who live on the Rural Exemption Site that has delivered 17 new affordable social homes for local families and individuals.

It was fantastic to see first-hand the real impact these smaller sites can have in tackling the housing crisis—providing quality, affordable homes right where local people need them, embedded within their communities.
