This month, working parents will be entitled to 30 hours of government-funded childcare – saving up to £7,500 a year and giving children the best possible start.
Families on free school meals will also benefit, with Labour investing £600 million in holiday clubs, helping parents save over £800 a year.
This is the biggest childcare expansion in history, part of Labour’s Plan for Change to put more money back in people’s pockets and help every child thrive.

Giving every child the Best Start in Life is this Government’s number one priority, and I’ll keep working to make sure families in the Forest of Dean feel that support.
