Supporting Hugh’s Law (It’s Never You) and Harry's Pals Charity

Some issues rise above politics. They’re not about party lines, political point scoring, or personal benefit – they’re about doing what is right.

That’s why I am proud to support Hugh’s Law and the incredible work of Harry’s Pals.

Parents of children diagnosed with life-changing or life-limiting conditions do not want to rely on benefits or support services. No parent ever wishes to find themselves in that situation. But when they do, the reality is that they need support – and it should never be in question. It should be guaranteed, compassionate, and timely.

The Government should act on this not out of political convenience, but because it is the right thing to do.

This is about ensuring families facing the most unimaginable challenges are not left to struggle alone. It’s about dignity, compassion, and fairness.

I will continue to raise my voice for Hugh’s Law and to champion the work of Harry’s Pals, and I urge others – across politics, charities, and communities – to join me in supporting this cause.
