GWAAC’s Firewalk to raise vital funds for GWAAC

This is not a party political or even general political post, but something my team and I are participating in to help raise vital funds for a service that any one of us could need at any time.

We’re turning up the heat for Great Western Air Ambulance Charity!

My team and I are stepping up—literally—to take on the ultimate challenge: walking barefoot across red-hot embers in Mission Ignition: GWAAC’s Firewalk to raise vital funds for GWAAC.

Every single day, GWAAC’s team of specialist doctors and critical care paramedics bring the emergency room to the scene of the most serious 999 calls across Bristol, Bath, North Somerset, Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire, and parts of Wiltshire. From major trauma to cardiac arrests, they’re there when every second counts.

Here in the Forest, many areas are remote and hard to reach—but when time is critical, the incredible GWAAC team is there, bringing life-saving care exactly where it’s needed, fast.

GWAAC is a charity that receives no government or national lottery funding—they rely entirely on the generosity of people like you.

By sponsoring our team, you’re helping fund this lifesaving service—and yes, we’re walking on fire to show how serious we are about supporting them!

Please donate what you can and help keep GWAAC flying and saving lives.

Let’s make every step count—for a truly life-saving cause.
