Christmas Card Competition 2026
I am once again hosting my Forest of Dean MP Christmas Card Competition!
This year’s theme is:
“The Forest of Hope”
The Forest of Dean is a wonderful place to call home—from our beautiful forests and wildlife to the fantastic communities we’re so proud to be part of.
This year, I want to see how our young artists imagine hope in the Forest of Dean, while also capturing the warmth, joy and festive spirit that makes Christmas so special.
The competition is open to all Primary School-aged children across the Forest of Dean!
How to enter
- Entries must be A4 size and Portrait.
- The deadline is 1st November.
Please send entries to:
Matt Bishop MP
215–216 Forest of Dean District Council

The winning design will appear on the front cover of my official Christmas card, while the runners-up will feature inside!
The card will be sent across the Forest of Dean and Parliament, meaning our young artists could see their designs celebrated right across the country!
I’d love to see as many children as possible get involved, use their imaginations and show us what “The Forest of Hope” means to them.
Good luck to everyone taking part. I can’t wait to see your designs!
