We Will Never Forget

20 years ago, 52 innocent lives were taken in a coordinated act of terror at Aldgate, Edgware Road, & Russell Square tube stations and Tavistock Square on the number 30 bus — countless more lives were changed forever.

I was a Police Officer at the time. I was one of those sent to the scene at Tavistock Square that day. I will never forget the devastation, the bravery of colleagues and strangers alike, and the profound sense of loss.

Today, as an MP, I continue to carry those memories — and the responsibility they bring — with me.

We remember the victims, stand with the survivors, and honour the selfless actions of our emergency services.

We will never forget.
