School visits to Parliament

I am pleased to share that the Forest of Dean had the 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻-𝘂𝗽𝘀 in our region for UK Parliament Week 2024.

As a result, 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘄𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 during UK Parliament Week 2025 (26 November 2025).

The visit includes a guided tour and a special workshop at Parliament’s Education Centre.

It was fantastic to see so many schools take part last year. This visit offers a unique and engaging opportunity for pupils to see Parliament in action, learn how democracy works, and understand how they can make their voices heard.
