Question to the Minister of State for Policing and Crime, Sarah Jones MP

Updated: Sep 16

Yesterday in the Chamber, I raised an issue that has been brought to me by many in the policing community — how we can better recognise the long service of Police Community Support Officers.

I put this directly to the Minister of State for Policing and Crime, Sarah Jones MP, who agreed that there should be a form of recognition to celebrate the incredible work PCSOs do in the Forest of Dean and across the country.

I will keep working to ensure PCSOs get the recognition they deserve.

You can watch my full question and the Minister’s response above.
