Proud to serve the Forest of Dean, Great Western Air Ambulance is your trusted local lifeline in emergencies.

Earlier this week, I spent some time with the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity (GWAAC) [TAG]—the lifesaving service that serves our community, Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire, Bristol, North Somerset, and Bath & Northeast Somerset.
Meeting the team, seeing the equipment and hearing the stories really does bring home how essential they are to us all. If you or a loved one is in critical need, GWAAC is ready to provide urgent care when every second counts.
They operate a EC135 helicopter along with critical care cars, staffed 365 days a year by a specialist paramedic and a critical care doctor. They can be airborne within four minutes and reach anyone across the region in just 20 minutes.
GWAAC relies almost entirely on public generosity. Their team is made up of volunteer first responders and committed staff who work diligently to keep us all safe. Everyone involved—pilots, paramedics, doctors, fundraising staff and volunteers—has a shared focus to save lives and assist people in critical need.
I want to thank the GWAAC for the service they provide day in, day out, and for inviting me to meet with them this week.
Please support this brilliant charity however you can. Your donations, time and support help ensure GWAAC can continue to be there when we need them.
Take a look at their website and consider how you might help a charity many of us have—or will—rely on. https://www.committedgiving.uk.net/GWAA/donate/
