Great Oaks Hospice

I recently visited Great Oaks Hospice and had the opportunity to tour the site with Chief Executive Officer Joe.

Over the past 20 years, Great Oaks has grown from a single room at the Dilke Hospital into a much-valued service supporting people across the Forest of Dean and beyond. Their work is deeply appreciated by the community—and rightly so.

As demand for palliative care grows, the hospice is adapting to meet increasingly complex needs while continuing to support families with compassion and care.
