FVAF receives significant Government funding!

I am pleased to announce that the Forest Voluntary Action Forum - FVAF alongside partners of the DIGI Partnership (Digital Inclusion Gloucestershire Imitative) will receive significant funding from the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology’s Digital Inclusion Innovation Fund.

FVAF supports hundreds of local voluntary and community organisations, helping them deliver vital work across the district. Their Digi@Home project tackles digital exclusion by offering free, tailored one-to-one support to people in their own homes.

This Labour government is committed to boosting digital inclusion to grow the economy and improve living standards.

In August, we launched a £9.5 million Digital Inclusion Innovation Fund to back local initiatives that help older people, low-income households and others gain the skills they need to get online.

FVAF’s and the DIGI Partnership’s work is a strong example of this mission in action, and I am pleased they are receiving this significant grant!
