Declaration of Office for Julia Kent MBE

Had a great time attending the Declaration of Office for Julie Kent MBE as the new 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗳 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗲.

The High Sheriff is a historic role that supports the judiciary, police, charities, volunteers, youth cadets, businesses, and the Crown across our county. Julie’s leadership and dedication will undoubtedly continue this tradition of service on in Gloucestershire.

I was glad to be joined by Di Martin, Labour and Cooperative candidate for Drybrook and Lydbrook, and Emma Phillips, Labour candidate for Cinderford East

I would also like to say a big thanks to Mark Hurrell DL for his dedication and service in the role over the past year. I wish Julie all the best as she takes on this important responsibility
