I would like to express my sincere thanks to Jade Blue McCrossen-Nethercott, Charlotte Meijer, and Morwenna Loughman for their courage and openness in sharing their experiences.
The harrowing realities set out in this video are exactly why the Courts and Tribunals Bill is so vital.
For too long, victims have been asked to navigate a system that can feel overwhelming, retraumatising, and too often unresponsive to their needs. That cannot continue.
The reforms this Government is bringing forward—reforms I am very proud to support—put victims at the heart of the justice system. This Bill is about ensuring victims’ voices are not only heard but actively shape the justice system itself.
It is the voices of victims and survivors like Jade, Charlotte, and Morwenna that are driving these vital changes.
Once again, I send my sincere thanks to the women in this video and all those who have contributed for their courage in sharing their experiences and for providing such meaningful insight into the realities of the justice system.
