It was great to visit Brody’s Trust and spend time with Nikki and the team yesterday, hearing first-hand about the important work they are doing to support children with special educational needs and their families.
All the work they’ve done to transform their space is super impressive, particularly the sensory room—creating a space where children can explore, regulate and feel comfortable. I was also shown the improvements made to their kitchen to ensure inclusivity and accessibility.
I know there's still so much more Brody's Trust and everyone there wants to provide, so please visit their website and support where you can: https://www.brodys-trust.org/
Their Facebook page with lots of information and updates can be found here: Brody's Trust
Charities like Brody’s Trust fill vital gaps in support, and it’s clear how much this work means to local families. Thank you to Nikki and the team for taking the time to show me around, and I look forward to supporting Brody's Trust to ensure families and children receive the support they need in the Forest of Dean.
